In the Fashion constellation, its brightest star; fashionista, was like all the stars in our galaxy: a ball of hot gas made of about 75% hydrogen, some helium, and a sprinkle of other elements.
Born from dust of the proto-fashion nebula, Fashionista had a strong passion for fashion and desire for self-expression. And, with the help of gravity, Fashionista entered its main sequence.
Life
For millions of years, Fashionista was a well balanced star that grew to shine brightly. An average star, like our sun, has an expected 10 billion year life - this long main sequence allows life to potentially develop, as seen on Earth. Massive stars, like Fashionista, burn through their hydrogen fuel faster and evolve quickly, making their main sequence much shorter.During its course, Fashionista went through different stages where it struggled to reach equilibrium with the pressure of gravity. Instead of a stable state, Fashionista struggled between contradiction and expansion. The passion for fashion that once fueled her began to lose its energy, and as she burned through her fuel - Fashionista began to cool.
The desire for self expression ignited into carbon, eventually producing iron. Once fusion stopped, Fashionista collapsed under the pressure of its own weight.
DEATH
At the end of its evolution, Fashionista's core, made of mostly iron, no longer had pressure to keep producing heat. As gravity continued to take over, Fashionista collapsed. Resulting in a supernova explosion.
Due to its mass - Fashionista collapsed into a black hole. Now so compact, light continues to come in, but no longer escapes.
Although Fashionista (the star) no longer lives, it's life cycle continues. Contrary to myths, Fashionista (the black hole) does not act as a cosmic vacuum. As a black hole, Fashionista pulls in gas, stars, dust and even other black holes into its accretion disk. Now having enough power to warp space and time to all that get near.
